| General Overview | Strong-willed and somewhat serious, Miraya is every bit the Starfleet Commander. A third-generation Starfleet Officer, Miraya is dedicated and loyal to the Fleet and to the Federation. From an early age, she was steeped in the culture of not only service, sacrifice and tradition, but most of all exploration. Her first and last duty is that of a Starship Captain; protect her ship, protect her crew and protect the Federation. Miraya knew since she was a little girl she would join Starfleet. Ever since she was a little girl Miraya was insatiably curious, she heard stories of her parent's adventures and couldn't wait to have her own. Always looking under rocks and climbing trees, Miraya played out her own adventures until she was old enough to truly have her own. While she has tempered a bit as she's gotten older and gained more responsibility, at her core Miraya yearns to discover. From her time as a Frigate pilot, Miraya has taken on a focused, hard charging attitude toward her goals. When she takes on a goal or challenge she can sometimes get to the point of being a bit obsessive about it. She’s not someone who likes to give up on goals, seeing it as a type of failure. Since stepping into her new role as a part of the Admiralty, Miraya has tried to keep her ambitious and daring streak alive. She’s seen too many Admirals in her time who were too timid, too scheming. Miraya aims to set an example to the next generation coming into their own. |
